Project Maintenance Staff
Central and Eastern Klickitat Conservation Districts are looking for casual employees to perform landscaping maintenance and general assistance on future and installed conservation projects. This position is on-call, as-needed. Work schedule is based on availability and need as determined by supervisor. The current forecast for upcoming workload is 40 – 80 hours over the next 6 months.
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Installing and maintaining drip irrigation systems
- Fencing maintenance
- Weed eating
- Planting site preparation
- Other tasks as assigned
Employee will be expected to keep a maintenance log of all work performed.
Must be at least 16 years of age and hold current driver’s license. Must be able to stand or crouch for extended periods of time and able to carry 25 lbs. of equipment over un-even, un-paved, sloping terrain. Position requires employee to work, unsupervised, out-of-doors in rain, snow, wind, or excessive heat. Pay range is $11 – $14 hour depending on qualifications. Employee wages are paid monthly. Several positions are available and the openings will be maintained until filled.
