Accountability matters
Central Klickitat Conservation District (CKCD) takes accountability seriously. We strive to be exceptional stewards of the public funding we receive, set priorities that matter to our community and demonstrate the benefits Washingtonians receive from our work.
Please check out our planning and reporting documents to learn more about where we’re headed and for examples of our accomplishments so far.

Long-Range Plan
Our long-range plan covers a five-year period (2019-2024). We set goals and timelines to achieve key priorities, including farmland preservation, water quality/quantity, forest health, and more.

2019-2021 Feature Accomplishment
CKCD partnered with neighboring Eastern Klickitat Conservation District to purchase and conserve approximately 4,500 contiguous acres of forest and rangeland in the Simcoe Mountains.

Fiscal Yr 2023 Annual Work Plan
In addition to our long-range plan, CKCD develops an annual work plan of natural resources priorities. The plan follows the state fiscal year (July 2022-June 2023) and details specific actions we’ll take during that time.
